FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Galleries for Good Art Exhibit ‘Juxtaposed’ to Benefit Children’s Hospital Los Angeles
Torrance, CA – May 28, 2024 – Ace Tiger Gallery proudly presents “Juxtaposed: Brunswick & Wheeler,” an art exhibit featuring the works of Michael Brunswick and Randy Wheeler. This exhibit, running from June 1 to June 30, 2024, offers a unique blend of abstract and representational art, with a portion of the proceeds supporting Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, a nonprofit leader in pediatric health care.
Artistic Journey
The “Juxtaposed” exhibit weaves a narrative that links the artists’ works. Picture a gaucho roaming the vast Patagonian landscape, central to Wheeler’s art. As he traverses the rugged terrain, he comes upon a portal—an abstract piece by Brunswick—transporting him and his horse to modern-day Los Angeles. Intersection by intersection, he follows signs in the sky and on the ground, leading him to Ace Tiger Gallery in Torrance, California. This imaginative journey underscores the dynamic interplay between the past and present, the representational and the abstract.
About the Artists
Michael Brunswick, originally from Toronto, brings his abstract expressions inspired by the vibrant landscapes of California. His works are portals to introspection, inviting viewers to explore their own interpretations through dynamic color and texture.
Randy Wheeler offers deeply evocative landscapes and portraits rooted in his experiences in Patagonia and his personal relationships. His detailed representational art captures the essence of his subjects with profound emotional resonance.
Galleries for Good
The “Juxtaposed“ exhibit marks the launch of “Galleries for Good,” an initiative that merges art with philanthropy. Twenty percent of all art sales from the exhibit will directly benefit CHLA, supporting their mission to provide critical healthcare to children, foster scientific breakthroughs, and train future pediatric healthcare practitioners.

### END ###
“We’re trying to change the way people think about art,” says Randy Wheeler. “It’s great to be able to paint, but to be able to help someone at the end of it is pretty incredible.”
“Beauty can be found in the work, in their process, practice, and final product,” adds Michael Brunswick. “It’s not just about the superficial nature of the final picture but about the journey of creation.”
